Delhi Crime: Such cases often come to light in Delhi, due to which not only the common people but also the police become confused.
Despite the vigilance of the police in the country's capital, such criminal incidents keep happening, which is difficult to believe easily. When criminal incidents happen in the posh areas of Delhi, everyone's attention naturally gets attracted towards it. When the matter is related to Lutyens Delhi, it becomes high profile.
One such case of fraud has come to light. Upon investigation, Delhi Police itself was stunned. Two cars with similar numbers have been detected. Shocking facts have come to light during the investigation, due to which even the police were shocked.
According to sources associated with Delhi Police, a PCR call was made at 6.19 pm on March 18. In this call, a complaint was made to the police that two identical Innova vehicles were seen in the Tughlaq Road area. The police swung into action and seized both the vehicles after checking for any suspicious objects. Police have registered an FIR under IPC sections 471 (using a forged document as genuine) and 482 (using false property mark). At present the matter is being further investigated.
Both car owners identified
Police say that the owners of the vehicles have been identified. Inquiry revealed that the vehicles were registered in the name of a resident of Faridabad. This person lives in Malviya Nagar of South Delhi. The number of one of his cars was real. His number plate was also used in another vehicle. According to traffic rules, this comes under the category of crime.
Both cars were running in the ministry
According to sources, there is HR number 2 Innova car which was running in the Ministry of Government of India. Both the cars belong to the same owner. Both the vehicles are deployed in different government departments. One vehicle in this was stationed in the ministry.
The car had a commercial number plate. The owner had got his commercial number plate installed in another car also. According to sources, the demand for private number vehicles is high, that is why the accused vehicle owner got private numbers made on both the vehicles, put stickers of Government of India on them and drove them.
