Even before this, many media reports had claimed that Rohit had met Dravid and Agarkar regarding team selection. However, later Rohit termed all these news as rumors and said that no such meeting took place.
The deadline to submit the temporary team to the International Cricket Council (ICC) is May 1.
Rohit Sharma's team Mumbai Indians (MI) is scheduled to play Delhi Capitals (DC) next week on April 27, which means the Indian captain will also be in the national capital. In such a situation, a meeting can be held here.
