Paris 2024 Olympics: In the Paris Olympics 2024, Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain defeated Norway's Suniva Hofstad in the round of 16 of the women's 75 kg category. With this, the Indian boxer has made it to the quarter-finals.

Lovlina made a great start and won the first round. In the initial round, all the judges gave Lovlina 10-10 points, while Suniva got nine points from each judge. In this way, Lovlina won this round unanimously. After this, like the first round, Lovlina performed strongly in the second and third rounds as well and defeated the Norwegian boxer.

Let us tell you that she won the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics. She is the third Indian to win an Olympic medal after Vijender Singh and MS Mary Kom.
