Kisan Mahapanchayat: United Kisan Morcha will organize Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Here a resolution is likely to be passed to intensify the fight against the policies of the central government.
Officials said Delhi Police has given permission for the farmers' gathering with the condition that neither will there be more than 5,000 participants in the mahapanchayat nor will tractor trolleys be allowed near the venue.
More than 50,000 farmers from Punjab are expected to participate in this program. Farmer organizations insisted that this would be a peaceful gathering at Ramlila Maidan.

A large number of farmers from across Punjab started moving towards Delhi on Wednesday in more than 800 buses, trucks and several trains. Police said traffic may be affected in various parts of the national capital due to the gathering of farmers at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday.

Heavy deployment of paramilitary forces has been made at three borders of Delhi - Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur - to stop the ongoing protest by farmers demanding to march to Delhi. Hundreds of farmers are still sitting on the Punjab-Haryana border for the last one month.
