Electric Railway Track: Preparations have intensified to run trains from next year on the Bhopal Ramganj Mandi route, which brings MP closer to Rajasthan. After the commissioning of the third railway line coming to RKMP via Barkheda, Budhni, traffic has been started on it. This has increased the speed of passenger trains passing through Bhopal via Maharashtra and UP.

This presentation has been given by Bhopal Railway Division in the review of West Central Railway GM Shobhana Bandopadhyay. Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria said that apart from the third line and Ramganj Mandi project, the work of Amrit Bharat Development will be expanded at Bhopal station this year.

This will be the route (Single Electric Track)
The train will run on a single electric track from Ramganj Mandi via Jhalawar. From Jhalawar, it will go to Junakheda, Aklera, Ghatoli, Bhojpur of MP, Khilchipur (the station will be two km inside the main city), Rajgarh, Shyampur, Bairagarh and Bhopal. Earlier, the line was going to pass through Nishatpura and DIG Bungalow in Bhopal, but later it was changed.

Three districts of MP, two districts of Rajasthan will benefit
This line will increase a lot of possibilities in Bhopal, Sehore and Rajgarh districts of MP as well as Kota and Jhalawar districts of Rajasthan. People will get convenience in commuting in these districts. Farmers of Rajgarh district will be able to take their produce and commodities etc. to distant stations due to increased connectivity of trains. The possibilities of all types of goods trains will also increase here.
Civil work has started in Bhopal. Land has also been allotted. Efforts are on to start traffic on this route by the year 2025. Shobhana Bandopadhyay, GM, West Central Railway
