Breaking: ED raided the house of minister's PA servant early in the morning and found a 'mountain of money', everyone was stunned.
 

Ranchi ED Raid: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) started raids on the premises of minister Alamgir Alam's PA Sanjeev Kumar and several others in Ranchi on Monday morning. Cash worth crores has been recovered from the house of a person working in Sanjeev Kumar's house. It is reported that this amount could be more than Rs 25 crore. Many officers, their close ones and politicians are said to be among those whose places are being raided.

The Enforcement Directorate is raiding several locations in Ranchi. In the Virendra Ram case, a huge amount of cash was recovered from the domestic help of Sanjeev Lal – PS of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam.

In February 2023, the ED team had raided the premises of former Chief Engineer of Rural Development Department Virendra Ram in a money laundering case and arrested him. Virendra Ram is still in jail.

Today's raid is said to be an extension of the investigation into the same case. The ED team is raiding a total of nine locations in Bariatu, Morhabadi and Bodeya in the city, including the residence of Engineer Vikas Kumar in Ranchi's Cell City.
