Big Breaking: Case is going on in Sultanpur's MP-MLA court against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the case of indecent remarks on BJP leader Amit Shah. Hearing was today i.e. on 2nd July, but Rahul Gandhi did not reach the court.
In the court, Rahul Gandhi's lawyer expressed his inability to reach the court due to the proceedings of the House. Along with this, he demanded an apology for absence.
On this, the MP-MLA court showed strictness and fixed the next date of hearing of Rahul Gandhi's case as 26th July. Along with this, strict instructions have also been given that if Rahul Gandhi does not reach the court directly on July 26, then strict action will be taken against him.
Rahul Gandhi had made indecent remarks on Amit Shah
In fact, on August 4, 2018, former chairman of the District Cooperative Bank Vijay Mishra had filed a complaint in the court against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making objectionable remarks against Home Minister Amit Shah. He was summoned by the court for trial on November 27, 2023. Rahul Gandhi appeared in the court on February 20 and got his bail.
The case is pending in the special court of MP-MLA in the process of recording his statement. The hearing in this case was to be held on Tuesday, but Rahul Gandhi did not reach the court directly. On this, the court took a tough stand and gave a stern warning to Rahul Gandhi and postponed the hearing of the case till July 26.
