AAP Protest: In view of the demonstration of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has closed the entry and exit gates of Lok Kalyan Marg metro station for security reasons. Along with this, one gate each of Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat metro stations has also been closed.

DMRC has written on the social media platform 'X' that in view of security reasons, the entry and exit gates of Lok Kalyan Marg Metro Station, Gate No. 3 of Patel Chowk Metro Station and Gate No. 5 of Central Secretariat Metro Station will remain closed till further notice.

 It is noteworthy that Aam Aadmi Party has announced to surround the residence of PM Narendra Modi over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It is noteworthy that on March 28, the Enforcement Directorate arrested Kejriwal. That too when the Delhi Excise Policy itself has been cancelled.

, Delhi Police has further increased the security cordon of bungalow number 7 of Lok Kalyan Marg. This is the official residence of the Prime Minister. Along with this, the cordon has been strengthened in the surrounding area also. Traffic in Delhi and Central Delhi areas may be affected due to AAP's protest.

A Delhi Police official has said that there are strong security arrangements. Many levels of security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order. Section 144 is already in force in the entire area and no one is allowed to protest here. In view of the protest, seven diversion points have been arranged. It is advised that the public should avoid passing through Kamal Ataturk Marg, Safdarjung Road, Akbar Road and Teen Murti Marg. Delhi government minister Gopal Rai said that this will be a nationwide demonstration.
